7EDU Volunteer Abroad - Taiwan Program
Session 1 - July 1-4, 2024, Session 2 - July 8-11, 2024, and a trip in between

Background:
During Summer 2023, our Mini Libraries volunteer program, led by 7EDU students, hosted an English-speaking summer camp at Minquan Elementary School in Taipei. We provided an English immersion language program for Grades 4-6 students from local families in need. The summer camp was a great success, receiving funding from the Taipei City Government and recruited 7 high school student volunteers from across the U.S., including California, Georgia, New Jersey, and Florida. All participants gained invaluable experience from this unique summer volunteer opportunity.
For Summer 2024, we are excited to announce that our volunteer program will expand to two schools! And, we are recruiting a total of 12 volunteers, with 6 volunteers allocated per school.
The program is divided into three parts: Session 1, a travel trip, and Session 2. Through out the program, volunteers will work daily from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm local time, in total getting about 80 volunteer hours each. A 2-3 day travel trip will be scheduled between the two sessions.
During the camp, volunteers will lead groups of about 5 students. As this is an English Summer Camp, we require volunteers to primarily communicate in English, providing an immersive English-speaking environment for the campers.
