Most students typically dive into specific college application tasks during the summer between their junior and senior years. However, some students opt for an early start in their college preparation journey, often laying the groundwork very early on.
Additionally, 7EDU advises planning ahead and executing specific tasks during specific grade levels to set oneself up for success in compiling application materials. It is also recommended to hire a college counselor as early as 9th or 10th grade to alleviate the pressure of preparing for college, especially for parents unfamiliar with the competitive admissions process.
