7EDU's Youth Entrepreneurship Discovery Workshop in Cupertino, CA is a dynamic 5-day program designed to inspire creativity, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset in middle school students. Through hands-on activities, students will explore the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, develop creative ideas, and experiment with innovative concepts. This workshop provides an immersive learning experience where students discover how to turn ideas into real-world projects and potential business ventures.
Who Should Join?
This workshop is designed for 6th to 8th graders who are eager to explore new ideas and inventions. The program is well-suited for students who enjoy creative thinking, problem-solving, and are interested in understanding the basics of entrepreneurship through a hands-on approach.
Workshop Schedule:
Day 1: Introduction to Creativity and Entrepreneurship
Orientation and ice-breaking activities to encourage teamwork.
Introduction to entrepreneurship with a focus on creative thinking.
Activities designed to inspire exploration and generate innovative ideas.
Initial brainstorming sessions to kickstart potential projects.
Day 2: Business Fundamentals and Innovation
Overview of basic business concepts suitable for middle school students.
Interactive activities focusing on team dynamics and company structures.
Exercises to encourage creative thinking and innovation in business.
Introduction to the process of identifying and developing new ideas.
Day 3: Idea Development and Experimentation
Guided sessions on transforming innovative concepts into actionable projects.
Hands-on activities for brainstorming, prototyping, and idea development.
Introduction to basic marketing concepts and market research fundamentals.
Experimentation stations for testing and refining ideas.
Day 4: Communication, Branding, and Presentation Skills
Workshops on effective communication and storytelling techniques.
Basics of branding and creating a unique identity for projects.
Public speaking practice to build confidence in presenting ideas.
Activities to develop and refine presentation skills.
Day 5: Project Finalization, Entrepreneurial Showcase, and Celebration
Final guidance on developing business ideas and projects.
Preparation for the showcase, with emphasis on pitch refinement.
Entrepreneurial showcase event where students present their projects.
Reflection and feedback session to highlight key learnings.
Conclude with a BBQ party, celebrating creativity, innovation, and teamwork in a fun, informal setting.
The program offers hands-on learning with expert mentors specializing in startups and investment. Students will explore real-world case studies, learn company fundamentals, and develop entrepreneurial thinking, research, and problem-solving skills. They’ll also dive into industry trends and hear success stories from actual startups and venture capitalists.
