The Silicon Valley Youth Entrepreneurship Program
The Silicon Valley Youth Entrepreneur Program is not your average business club. Instead of just teaching students about business, we bring them into it. Through practical experience and professional networking, we believe our students can break down the arbitrary age barrier for entrepreneurship, flourishing into a generation of daring and socially conscious business leaders. Helmed by a team of nine high school students with a genuine passion for business, SVYEP will become the largest student-run business club in the nation.
E4I is a platform created to bring people from different backgrounds and industries together to share their thoughts on all things education-related.
TEDxLeadways School is an annual student-run speaker event dedicated to sharing powerful ideas within the Bay Area community. This event’s purpose is for students and business professionals to share their unique perspectives and engage in thoughtful conversation with others.
Leadways Run Club was founded by high school students in the Bay Area. Our mission is to foster physical fitness, promote mental well-being, and build a supportive community among high school students. We envision a healthier, happier, and more connected generation, where the habits of physical and mental health developed through running are carried into adulthood.
The Girls 4 Business Challenge is a global competition open to all girls in elementary and middle school from grades 1 through 8, free of charge. The challenge will encompass a series of fun activities that will allow young girls to gain insight into the business realm, all while having the opportunity to earn cash prizes!
The Edible Schoolyard Project aims to revolutionize public education by utilizing organic school gardens to teach both academic subjects and the values of nourishment, stewardship, and community. Edible education provides students with hands-on experiences that connect them to food, nature, and each other while also educating them about environmental science and biology. Through this hands-on experience, students can learn essential life skills and academic science. At its core, the Edible Schoolyard Project provides a dynamic and joyful learning experience for every child.
Organized and led by high school students, PPP aims to
recover surplus food from school campuses and divert it to feed those suffering
from hunger. The group strives to conserve the water and energy used in
producing otherwise wasted food while also providing nutritious meals for the
community's most vulnerable members.
Mini libraries are collections of used books maintained for public use, particularly in underserved communities where access to books is limited. The books are free to read, exchange, or trade. A mini library can be set up by anyone around the city.
