What is it?

A toy race car powered by a Balloon Engine!

What does it teach?

Newton’s Third Law of Motion- every action has an equal opposite reaction.

When you use the balloon as an engine, the air is pushing the car in a different direction than where the balloon is, making the car race toward the finish line at a certain speed!

On Your Mark, Get Set, GO!

After the kids are finished creating their race cars, they will be divided into grade levels and race their cars to the finish line. Whichever car crosses first or gets the farthest WINS!

The Prize

A mini cake/cupcake for each grade level winner (about 5 winners total)

Target Audience

K - 5th graders

Max Amount of Guests

About 40 - 50 students
