In the spirit of TED's mission of "Ideas Worth Spreading," TEDx is a global program of independently organized events licensed by TED. Each TEDx event brings communities together through thought-provoking talks, meaningful conversations, and inspiring ideas, while following TED's guidelines and standards.
Founded in 2023, TEDxLeadways is a student-led TEDx event created to empower high school students to think critically, share their perspectives, and inspire others through ideas. Organized by students and supported by mentors, TEDxLeadways has become a platform where young voices take center stage, developing confidence, leadership, and communication skills while engaging in conversations that matter.

Learning is more than gaining knowledge. It's about curiosity, growth, resilience, and discovering new perspectives. TEDxLeadways 2026 invites high school students to explore the many ways learning shapes who we are and who we can become.

Have an idea, story, or perspective worth sharing?
We are looking for high school students who are passionate about education, AI, innovation, creativity, or any topic that inspires meaningful conversation.
As a TEDx Speaker, you will:
- Develop and refine your TEDx Talk
- Receive guidance from our organizing team
- Share your ideas on the TEDx stage
- Inspire fellow students through your voice
No previous speaking experience is required.
